Over the past several years we have witnessed repeated attempts to disrupt and stifle the development of clean energy in Ohio. GEO and our coalition partners have fought against these measures, in an effort to defend the economic development, job creation, and quality of life that clean energy brings to the state. It’s now time for advocates to go on the offensive and put forward a vision for a new energy paradigm in Ohio, one that serves all Ohioans in an equitable and transparent way.
That’s exactly what the Energy Jobs and Justice Act does.

House Bill 429 was referred to the House Energy & Natural Resources Committee and has received sponsor testimony.
We encourage you to go to the proposal’s website to learn more about HB 429 and contact your legislators in support of a clean energy future for Ohio.
