Join us for the GEO Climate Change Book Club on April 16th at 7pm
At a moment when the political winds in Washington seem to be blowing in favor of fossil fuels, and against renewable energy, we need to focus on good news where we can find it. The fact is that renewable energy is fast becoming the cheapest and most efficient form of energy in history. Despite the efforts of the new administration to undermine the IRA hundreds of thousands of good jobs are being created in America, many of them in conservative areas. A green energy revolution is underway. The only question is can we win it fast enough to avoid the worst effects of climate change.

No one has articulated a positive vision of the future better than Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson in her book “What if We Get it Right.” In this Smithsonian Best Book of the Year honoree, and New York Times bestseller, she and her co-authors describe the path to a better world using the tools that are already available to us.
“With a thoughtfully curated series of essays, poetry, and conversations, the brilliant scientist and climate expert Ayana Elizabeth Johnson has assembled a group of dynamic people who are willing to imagine what seems impossible, and articulate those visions with enthusiastic clarity.”—Roxane Gay
We can all use some good news right now so join us for our next Green Energy Ohio book club meeting.
