Extreme Heat
- Today, Ohio experiences more than 5 days of temperatures that reach above 90 degrees each year.
- By 2050, the state is projected to see more than 46 of these dangerous heat days each year.
Inland Flooding
- Cinncinati, Columbus, and Cleveland are all within the top 50 U.S. cities with the strongest increases in downpours
- The severity of Ohio’s high runoff events (weighted by its vulnerable population) currently ranks in the top half of the 32 states assessed for inland flooding threat
