Frank Willson, AEP Energy

Frank Willson is currently the Vice President of Residential and Small Business Solution Sales for AEP Energy, a Competitive Retail Electricity Supplier based in Columbus, Ohio, and Chicago, Illinois. AEP Energy serves over 500,000 customers in 6 states and the District of Columbia. Frank joined AEP Energy in April 2013 after a long career as Director of Marketing and Director of Operations at WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio. Willson’s marketing career spans 25 years in a variety of markets and functions. He is the recipient of 5 regional Emmy Awards as well as the first national “Eye on Excellence” award from the CBS Television Network. Frank serves on the Executive Committee of the Dublin Convention and Visitors Bureau and has served on the boards of Leadership Columbus and JDRF (formally Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in support of his daughter with type 1 diabetes. A father of 3 grown daughters, Frank lives in Granville, Ohio, just east of Columbus with his wife Lisa. 

Luke Sulfridge, AEP Energy

Luke Sulfridge serves as Executive Director of the Southeast Ohio Public Enery Council (SOPEC). SOPEC was established in 2014 by local governments in Southeast Ohio to increase efficiency through shared administrative, financial, and legal services required for high-value public energy programs. There are currently 15 local government members of SOPEC. Prior to SOPEC, Luke was the program director of Solar United Neighbors in Ohio where he provided support for the expansion of solar in Ohio through co-ops and policy advocacy. His previous work includes health policy, emergency management, grassroots organizing, and advocacy. Luke holds a B.A. from Berea College in Political Science, a M.S. from Eastern Kentucky University in Safety, Security and Emergency Management, and a M.A. from Appalachian State University in Political Science. Luke is a lifelong resident of the Mid-Ohio Valley and resides in Washington County.
